...there does seem a tendency for the Tories to nick our ideas and give no credit. I guess that's politics. But if he's going to winge about when it's done to him, he should not be surprised to be called up on his own plagiarism.

To be fair on Cameron, I think his beef is over Gordon Brown nicking his proposals for a Privy Council hearing on the subject. Nevertheless, it does seem like a fairly minor thing to get your panties in a bunch over. The Cameron-Osbourne camp are acquiring a real reputation as prime whingers. Anyone would think they were public schoolboys who thought the world owed them a favour.

...and thought, hang on, where have I heard that before? Oh yes, I know, a more or less constant stream of Lib Dem press releases and ministerial statements on the various terrorism measures that have gone through parliament over the last few years.
